Schurter switch with backlit legends now available

Did you know that we can now supply Schurter ceramic pushbuttons with backlit legends?

We use advanced laser-etching technology to enhance the visual impact of these robust switches. Available in 19 or 22mm versions, with latching or momentary switching function, they can be backlit in one of 6 standard colours.

Choose from a range of industry-standard legends, or send us your artwork for customised symbols such as a company logo etc, which will make your products stand out from the crowd.

IDEC are seeing a growing desire of the machine maker to have elegance on their machine control and user interface. So to encourage this trend we have introduced not one but three series of switches that have one key feature in common – they are all flush mounting, with a front panel mounting of only 2mm.

The design of each switch promotes the sleek & elegant finish also giving many other advantages such as improving hygiene by reducing the surface area preventing dust and other particles, like food, accumulating around the work station.

GT Contact sealed connectors

GT Contact are a manufacturer who offers a wide range of robust connectors which can be sealed up to IP68.

Unlike many other waterproof connectors in the market, GT Contact products are rear potted. This allows the connectors to retain their IP rating with the panel when unmated with no sealing cap attached.

IP68-sealed Weipu connector is perfect for SimpleFIX plug and play lighting

Specialist e-mech distributor Live Electronics has teamed up with leading lighting solutions provider Greenstock in the development of its innovative simpleFIX plug and play lighting system.

SimpleFIX offers a quick and easy method of installing multiple lighting components – indoors or out – without the need for complex wiring, thus saving the end-user time and money. Key to its success is the rugged, waterproof connection system, which enables multiple lighting units to be daisy-chained together, using a single power source.

Greenstock called on the expert advice of Live Electronics to recommend a robust, fully-sealed yet cost-effective connector system and the 21mm diameter Weipu SP21 series proved to be a perfect fit.
